Class A CDL
Online, self-paced theory course
In-person behind-the-wheel training
The CDL Class A training program is designed to teach students how to safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle and obtain a Class A commercial driver’s license.
Instruction is based on the New Mexico CDL Manual and the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration Entry Level Driver Training requirements including theory, airbrakes, vehicle inspection, manual transmission, backing skills, and over the road driving.
This course covers:
- Theory instruction
- Safe operation of a Class A commercial vehicle.
- Behind-the-wheel training with a CNM Ingenuity CDL instructor
Tuition: $4,800
Courses start once per month.
Class B CDL
Online, self-paced theory course
In-person behind-the-wheel training
The CDL Class B training program is designed to teach students how to safely operate a Class B commercial vehicle and obtain a Class B commercial driver’s license.
Instruction is based on the New Mexico CDL Manual and the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration Entry Level Driver Training requirements including theory airbrakes, vehicle inspection, manual transmission, backing skills, and over the road driving.
This course covers:
- Theory instruction
- Safe operation of a Class B commercial vehicle.
- Behind-the-wheel training with a CNM Ingenuity CDL instructor
Tuition:
- Class B Straight Truck: $2,800
- Class B Passenger Bus: $3,100
Courses start once per month.
Hazardous Materials Endorsement
Online, self-paced theory course
The regulations require training and testing for all drivers involved in transporting hazardous materials.
Instruction is based on the New Mexico CDL Manual and the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration Entry Level Driver Training requirements for Hazardous Materials.
This course covers:
- Theory instruction to meet the FMCSA Entry Level Driver Training Requirements
- Helps prepare student for the MVD’s written exam.
