Job Training Albuquerque (JTA) is a workforce development program that provides opportunities for the local workforce to gain necessary skills in order to fill skill gaps and meet the workforce needs of existing and potential employers. Upskill Sandoval
Upskill Sandoval is a workforce development program that provides free training and education opportunities for Sandoval County residents. This collaborative partnership helps displaced workers transition to careers in high-demand fields. Program partners include Sandoval County, the Schumann Foundation, the Rio Rancho Regional Chamber, Workforce Connection of Central New Mexico, CNM and CNM Ingenuity. Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA)
The federal Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) is legislation that is designed to strengthen and improve our nation’s public workforce system and help get Americans, including youth and those with significant barriers to employment, into high-quality jobs and careers and help employers hire and retain skilled workers. Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR)
The New Mexico Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) provides assistance for those who have an impairment that “constitutes a substantial impediment to employment.” Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a state- and federally-funded program designed to help eligible individuals with documented disabilities find suitable employment. VR is a voluntary program and services persons who want to work. With a long history of success and proven methodology for making the best fits, time and again, DVR is committed to helping clients succeed.
GI Bill

Funding for AmeriCorps members who have committed their time to address critical community needs like increasing academic achievement, mentoring youth, fighting poverty, sustaining national parks, preparing for disasters and more who have earned education benefits to be used at two and four year institutions.
Trade Adjustment Assistance
The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program is a federally-funded program created to assist workers dislocated due to foreign imports or the transfer of production to Mexico or Canada. The program offers great benefits, including money for retraining and reimbursement of job search and relocation expenses.
